Exchange Students

Having exchange students has greatly enriched our lives! When I was a child, we had 4 exchange students. Oddly enough, I don't much remember the exchange students that were around at our school, except one boy from germany who played the saxaphone. Anyways, I am so thankful to have become involved with AFS and the many wonderful people of all countries who are with this organization. Last year, we Hosted Supinda, and it was great. We still miss her terribly! And she wasn't the only exchange student who touched our lives. Many of her friends became a part of us as well, and we still keep in contact with them. This year we are hosting Noon, who is not with AFS, but still a part of the organization, informally, and we also had a welcome student for a couple weeks, who we still keep in close contact with. Here is a picture of Noon and Ming Ming, with the boys. They are wearing their thai shirts that Noon brought them from Thailand. I just love how kids are so accepting, and i know that these experiences will live with our children for many years!!
